In Focus | Viscose Rayon Twill

When designing some of our key pieces for WNSDY - the Ella Dress, the Noa Skirt, the Marlowe Pant and the Jo Bomber - we knew we wanted a fabric that could carry both the weight of our intention and the lightness of our aesthetic. Something timeless, with the quiet luxury of silk - yet grounded in the values that define WNSDY. 

Silk has long set the standard for elegance. Its luminous sheen, delicate drape and unmistakable softness have made it a symbol of refinement for centuries. But in reimagining what modern luxury can look and feel like, we chose to move in a different direction. 

Enter: our custom Viscose Rayon Twill.

This fabric was developed to evoke the ethereal quality of silk while embracing a conscious path forward. Crafted from wood pulp - sourced from sustainably managed forests - viscose carries the same breathability and fluidity as silk, but with a lighter environmental footprint and eliminates the need for animal-derived materials. It drapes effortlessly and moves with you.

There's a tactility to this twill that feels lived-in yet elevated. It skims the skin like a whisper, wrapping the body with intention, without demanding attention. Every silhoutte we design in this fabric is created to move with ease - to mirror the natural flow of the person wearing it.
