A Co-Founders Edit | Shanghai

A few days in Shanghai - a blur of work, wandering, and quiet moments in between. We came for supplier meetings and factory visits, but found ourselves sneaking in early walks along the Bund before the city woke, soaking in the stillness before the day began.

We stayed at The Shanghai Edition - easily one of the dreamiest hotels we've ever been in. A place that feels both global and grounded. It became our base, our office, and our backdrop for a few impromptu fit checks that felt too good not to capture.

When we weren't working, we were eating. Shanghai Tavern downstairs quickly became our go-to - long breakfasts and endless pours of hot jasmine tea that somehow made every meal feel complete.

The dumplings at Yang's - the original, OG dumpling house - were honestly the best we've ever had. Crisp, juicy, and worth every queue.

We wandered over to Anfu Road for a late arvo drink at the Apollo, surrounded by trees and people, lunch at La Diosa - a neon-lit Mexican restaurant that was loud, chaotic and completely perfect in its own way.

There were late-night vinos at The Roof at the Edition, quiet moments of inspiration between meetings, and slow walks through the tree-lined streets of the Xuhui District that made the city feel softer.

Shanghai is a city built on contrasts - modern, electric, yet deeply rooted. Between the factories, the food, and the people, it reminded us why we love what we do: discovering craftsmanship, culture, and new perspectives in every corner.

Captured through our eyes.
